Prather Group Instrumentation
In our research program, we use a wide range of instrumentation to
probe the role of aerosol particles in pollution, global climate
change, and human health effects. A table of the instruments
housed in our laboratories is given below. As you can see, the
aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometer which was developed in our
laboratory is just one of a suite of instruments available for studying
heterogeneous chemistry and air pollution processes. We are in
the process of developing other instruments for the analysis
of organic species in aerosol particles.
