
For these four weeks, Jake got to stay in the famous "Meat truck", parked
in the parking lot of the South Coast Air
Quality Management District headquarters in Diamond Bar. In this picture
you see Jake sampling particles in the meat truck. You can even see a particle
size distribution on the computer screen of the instrument. The fan in
the front helped keep the instrument cool during some very hot days.

In this picture you see some of the particle sources: cars and trucks
on the freeway directly below the sampling site and dry hills, source of
dust particles.
