Elwood sampled for two weeks in Azusa, from a "Meat truck" (an air conditioned
lab-on-wheels) which belongs to the South
Coast Air Quality Management District. This picture shows the delicate
transfer of the instrument from the moving truck into the meat truck.

Once the instrument was placed in the meat truck and working, a shade
providing tent was set up for the comfort of the operators, who had to
spend twelve-hour shifts at the site.

In this picture you see Elwood sampling ambient particles at the Azusa
site.
